Has there been a time in your life where you just struggled to do the right thing? It seems everything you do is just wrong and people are not happy with you. Your mind reassures you that if you leave the situation that it’ll be best because you’re the mistake or the problem.
These are the times that God’s word cries out to you how faithful God is to lead you out of this tempting thinking. He calls to you to draw close to him as he protects your mind and heart from the lies within that will draw you further and further from Him. The Apostle Paul reminded the believers in Corinth that God will not allow anything that will draw them completely away from God, but give them a way to draw back to God.
Enduring temptation is not about sickness or death, but really about living a life separated from God because of the decisions we make. The believers in Corinth were making sinful lifestyle decisions which affected the church. Paul reminds them, God is faithful and will not allow them to go to a place of no return but will provide a way for them return to God. We are reminded that the Holy Spirit who works in us to bring glory to God.
In Him,
